Care Packages & Holiday Blessings

Our troops have been deployed to unstable territories and operations in 2023.

Honoring Our Military through Thoughtful Care Packages

Most Americans are under the assumption that everything is provided for our heroes. This is assumption is false! Care packages help embrace our troops with some of the staples not provided and show just how much we as Americans support them.

We take pride in showing our appreciation to the military by assembling care packages that make a genuine impact. Our organization is dedicated to collecting donations and including items that soldiers have specifically asked for. Here are some examples of what we like to include in our care packages:

Join us in Assembling Care Packages for Our Troops on November 19th

We’re looking for volunteers to help us assemble care packages for our troops at the Peotone American Legion on November 19th. This is an incredibly meaningful activity, and we welcome anyone who is willing to lend their time and effort. All are welcome, and we appreciate any help you can offer.

Taking care of our veterans is not charity, it’s our duty as AMERICANS.

Adopt a Soldier reaches out to Homeless Veterans in need all year because we aren’t that once-a-year and gone organization. With that being said we like to go above and beyond at Christmas time. We visit and take the time to get to know many Veterans and their families this time of year. We ask them what their hobbies are, their needs, and their wants.

Please consider sacrificing a little so we at Adopt a Soldier can reach many of our veterans and their families in need.

Help us make them feel even more special by sponsoring or contacting us to buy something for them.
